Wildcard came to Priestwood as a two year old, chosen for his temperament and superb breeding. His sire Downland Mandarin needs no introduction and his dam Colbeach Lady Levanne herself a great winner,is by the successful sire of winners Coed Coch Endor (sire of Mollegaard Spartacus). Wildcard has a predominance of Downland and Coed Coch bloodlines and this is proving a successful outcross for the Carolinas Purple Emperor mares.

Sadly, due to a leg injury we have never been able to show him. However his first crop of yearlings made their mark winning at County level including taking first at the Royal Bath and West. His first filly was exported to Canada and one of his first colt foals made top price section B at the Fayre Oaks Sale. His stock continue to inherit his lovely disposition, correct movement and conformation. Wildcard was leased to Julie and Dennis Hounsham of the Weydown Stud in 2001 - Congratulations on your lovely Wildcard filly foals!
